Dafena is a Chicago Native, born and raised on Chicago's Westside in the Austin Area. She received a Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) degree from Roosevelt University, graduating with Distinction. She received a Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Accounting and Real Estate from DePaul University. She also received a Diploma in Radio, Television & Digital Communication from the Illinois Media School. She is a Real Estate Licensee, Life Insurance Producer Licensee and BASSET Licensee.

Dafena is the founding owner of Fe Entertainment & Media Group d/b/a Let Fe Entertain You Events which offers customized contractual business consulting services to improve overall operations and increase revenues for Bar, Restaurant and Nightclub owners.
